Authorized User Tradelines
Authorized user tradelines (AU tradelines) are aged, seasoned credit card accounts that you're added to as an authorized user. When the issuing bank reports the account to Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion, that account's age, limit, and on-time payment history post to your credit file — often lifting FICO and VantageScore within a single reporting cycle.
How authorized user tradelines work
The Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) and Regulation B require scoring models to include authorized user accounts. When a cardholder adds you as an AU, the bank reports the full account history under your Social Security number. The three bureaus blend that data into your file — and your score reflects the added age, limit, and utilization almost immediately after the statement cuts.
Why buy AU tradelines from Tradeline Exchange
- Direct ownership. Every card on the marketplace is owned and controlled by Legal X Global LLC — no third-party cardholders canceling or defaulting mid-cycle.
- 3-bureau reporting. Accounts report to Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion so the lift shows up everywhere lenders look.
- Aged, low-utilization cards. 2+ year age, sub-1% utilization, and perfect payment history on every listing.
- Guaranteed lift. Full refund if your score doesn't move after the tradeline posts.
Primary vs authorized user tradelines
A primary tradeline is an account you opened yourself — your name, your liability, your responsibility. Primary tradelines can't be legally bought or sold. An authorized user tradeline adds you to an existing seasoned account so its history reports to your credit. AU tradelines are federally recognized under ECOA and are the only tradeline product that can be legitimately purchased.
What to expect after purchase
After KYC verification, we schedule your AU add for the upcoming reporting cycle. Most cards report within 30 days. Score lift depends on your current profile — thin files typically see 20–100 point jumps per tradeline; established files see smaller but still meaningful lifts. Cards stay on your report for 4 months / 3 full reporting cycles.
